A Sustainable Saturday in Paris
Rather than reinvent the wheel, I am directing you to the blog of my publisher, North Atlantic Books, which has posted a sample itinerary I prepared based on my book and travels - A Sustainable Saturday in Paris. See http://northatlanticbooks.wordpress.com/2009/05/05/a-sustainable-saturday-in-paris/
I thought it was such a good idea that I have decided to post a few more daily itineraries here. So stay tuned for more to come and if you are not in Paris, enjoy the itinerary vicariously.

Today is the Day!
Today is the Day! that the Green Earth Guide: Traveling Naturally in France is available.
Local bookstores can get it easily, if they don't have it, since it is distributed by Random House, and many online booksellers have the book including Powell's Books, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Borders. In England it is available at Waterstone's and Amazon UK, and in France at Amazon France, as well as two English language bookstores - Shakespeare & Co. in Paris, and Librairie Shakespeare in Avignon.
In New York City, at least two independent booksellers are selling it. Idlewild Books (a wonderful travel bookstore - see my blog post Monday, October 6, 2008 New Independent Travel Bookstore in New York City: Another Place to Visit Near Union Square)
And McNally Jackson, a beautiful bookstore on Prince Street, in the lively SoHo area of Manhattan.
In the Upper Valley, the Norwich Bookstore in Norwich, the Dartmouth Bookstore in Hanover, and Borders in West Lebanon all stock the book.
For some additional information and a few corrections to the book see the Traveling Naturally Website, www.travelingnaturally.com. This picture (not in the book) is of the Sacre Couer Basilica in Paris in the Spring. The nuns sing vespers here every evening at 6pm (Sundays at 4pm) and this is not to be missed as their voices fully charge the place.
Check back as I will be posting a few daily itineraries for Traveling Naturally in France.
I hope you enjoy the book and all your traveling naturally adventures.
